About Seymour Poets

Seymour Poets is a culturally and ethnically diverse group of men and women of all ages. For some people Seymour Poets is their first attempt at creative writing, whilst others have previously had work published in various contexts. We all share a love of language and the joy of finding a shared medium for expressing the ups and downs of life.

"Out of The Blue" a collection of original Poetry and written creative work by Seymour Poets members. This is our first book and has been made possible by a grant from Community Foundation for Greater Manchester with further support from Common Word and blueSCI. "Out of The Blue" Is poetry by people with guts, gumption and know how. People who have lived a million lives and have stories to tell. Discover the very real Mrs. Healy, travel the super psychotic road to nirvana, go on a bus journey to the end of the world, sit back and relax with speaking cups of tea and be bedazzled with wonderment!

As well as the book we have recorded the authors narrating their own work. This will be available of as CD, also entitled "Out of The Blue".

The book costs 5.00 pounds and the CD is 2.00 pounds. These can be purchased at blueSCI reception or by email request. Postage and Packing will be charged at 1.50p. If you are interested in placing an order now please email information@bluesci.org.ukclearly stating your name, address and items you require.
