Thursday2:00pm - 3:00pmForest Bathing with BreathChamps: Forest bathing or 'Shinrin Yoku' is a Japanese practice to improve your wellbeing. Sessions immerse all our senses in nature (no undressing required!). Spend quiet, mindful time in nature, using your senses and slowing down to calm the mind. You don't have to do anything but just be! There will be a simple clinical assessment before starting. The actual forest bathing activity can last from 20-40 minutes, so if you would like to sit in the wood instead of stand, bring a camping chair or a cushion or rug to sit on a log if you have one - we can carry it if you need us to! Please wear supportive shoes and dress for the weather. Bring an extra layer of clothing as it's a few degrees cooler under the trees, water, a snack if you have diabetes, walking aids and any medications that you may need. Do not come if you feel poorly in any way.

Please note: This activity usually happens at Woodheys Park (Sale, M33 4LF) and the group meet at the Pavilion. However over the winter months, due to the weather, sessions will often move to the Library where the indoor space is used to connect to nature and make space for mindful activity.
