Digital Wellbeing Project

Digital Wellbeing Project

With the world around us becoming ‘digital-by-default’, it can feel overwhelming to keep up – especially if you experience difficulties with your mental health, Neurodivergence and/or Long-Term Health Conditions. Bluesci are supporting Trafford residents to feel better about using tech, and for the tech they use to support their needs as much as possible.

We can support you with the many barriers to getting online, and help you to maintain your health and wellbeing when using devices like phones and tablets and the internet. We are providing:

  • Digital skills drop-ins – if you’re an absolute beginner or just need help a specific issue, our groups are open to everybody.
  • Information about, and help with obtaining, Assistive Technology that can support Long-Term Health Conditions and/or Neurodivergence.
  • Support with online wellbeing e.g. social media use, scam spotting, AI, making your device more accessible for you.
  • Information on free SIMs/data via The National Databank.
  • Lots of fun and informative events and workshops.
  • 1:1 advice on digital inclusion and wellbeing for Trafford residents.
  • Partnering with local VCSFE and community-based organisations.
  • Volunteering opportunities and full training. (click here for more information)
  • Support if you are accessing the Bluesci Stop Smoking Service, helping you use devices like vapes to quit smoking cigarettes, with CO monitoring and blood pressure checks (click here for more information)
