Data Protection
Bluesci Support needs to collect and use certain types of information about the Data Subjects who come into contact with it in order to carry on our work. This personal information must be collected and dealt with appropriately– whether on paper, in a computer, or recorded on other material – and there are safeguards to ensure this under the General Data Protection Regulations 2018 (or GDPR for short).
Data is recorded for the effective delivery of the wellbeing service in order that we can:
- Provide appropriate support for individuals accessing the service
- Meet staff employment regulations
- Manage risk in relation to service delivery through DBS requests and the taking up of references
- Processing of data for planning and research (retention 12 months)
