We’re excited to announce the launch of Gardening for Growth, a free, welcoming project designed to help people build confidence, learn new skills, and connect with others through the power of gardening.
The group is running every Wednesday from 12–2pm until the end of March 2026.
What’s Gardening for Growth?
This project is all about creating opportunities for personal growth in a supportive environment. Whether you’re looking for a fresh start, want to meet new people, or simply enjoy spending time outdoors, this is for you.
Here’s what you’ll gain:
- Practical Skills: Learn how to maintain gardens, plant and care for greenery, and develop hands-on skills.
- Wellbeing Boost: Reduce stress, improve mental and physical health, and enjoy gentle exercise in nature.
- Confidence & Connection: Build resilience, meet new friends, and work as part of a team.
- Employment Readiness: Explore ideas for starting your own business or gain valuable soft skills like teamwork, communication, and reliability.
No experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to get involved! Plus, travel cost assistance is available through Support to Succeed (Growth Company) for registered participants.
