New Work and Skills Drop-Ins at Coppice Library

We’re excited to announce the launch of new weekly skills support sessions at Coppice Library & Wellbeing Centre, designed to help people build confidence, develop new skills, and take steps towards their goals.

Starting Wednesday 29 April 2026, the Trafford Council Skills Service team will be available every Wednesday from 10am to 12pm. They offer friendly, personalised guidance to support people at all stages of their learning or employment journey.

The Skills Team work with individuals at their own pace, whether they’re returning to learning, looking to change direction, wanting to improve skills for work, or exploring opportunities for the future. They can help you explore training options, gain qualifications, build employability skills, and progress into work or further learning — connecting you with the right support along the way.

Courses and support on offer:

  • Digital skills
  • CSCS card qualification
  • Early Years training
  • Functional Maths and English

They can also refer you to employment support programmes, helping to boost confidence and improve your chances of gaining employment.

The sessions are informal, welcoming, and open to anyone who would like support with skills, training, or employment.
